Alan Turning was a computer scientist.
He worked in GC&CS or Government Code and Cypher School during World War II.
Winston Churchill praised his contribution since his method bought big contribution for the victory against the Nazis

2.     Who was Tommy Flowers? Find at least 3 facts about him
Tommy Flowers was born in London's East End on 22 December 1905. After an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, he earned a degree in electrical engineering at the University of London.

3.     Who was Gordon Welchman?
William Gordon Welchman (15 June 1906 – 8 October 1985) was an English mathematician, university professor, Second World War codebreaker at Bletchley Park and author.

4.     What was Enigma and the Bombe?
The bombe is an electro-mechanical device used by British cryptologists to help decipher German Enigma-machine-encrypted secret messages during World War II.

5.     Why is Bletchley Park important? How many people worked at Bletchley Park during World War II?
By the end of the Second World War in 1945 nearly 10,000 people worked at Bletchley Park, an enormous increase on the 130-strong staff that composed the Government Code and Cypher School in 1939.

Colossus was a set of computers developed by British codebreakers in the years 1943–1945 to help in the cryptanalysis of the Lorenz cipher.
